BIM LAW

Abimbola Delalu is a result-oriented lawyer, with
ample Court experience. She has also successfully represented her clients successfully at all levels of Court in Alberta, including the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queens Bench of Alberta, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta.

Although Abimbola is a confident and persuasive litigator, she always encourages her clients to attempt Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) processes in resolving issues. Additionally, she is cognizant of how expensive the legal process can be, and accordingly does her best to help her clients mitigate their legal costs as much as possible.

Abimbola obtained her Bachelors of Law (LL.B) degree with Honours from the Lagos State University and was called to the Bar in 2004.

In 2005, Abimbola relocated to the United States to further her education. In 2006, she completed her postgraduate Law program and earned a Masters of Law (LL.M) from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis (IUPUI). While in Indianapolis, Abimbola focused on Family law, Contract negotiations, Alternative Dispute Resolution and worked as a Research Assistant with a Family Law Professor on various Family Law articles.

Upon moving to Calgary  from the United States in 2008, Abimbola attempted and successfully completed the Bar Equivalency Challenge examination (NCA). She articled with a Calgary boutique Law firm specializing in the areas of Family law, Real Estate and Business Law. Upon the completion of her articles Abimbola founded BIM LAW after she was called to the Alberta Bar Association.
